Linxure Corporation is committed to elimating as much spam as possible. We do not sell accounts to or assist spammers in anyway. Our Acceptable Use Policy prohibits spamming from Linxure's network, and anyone who willfully generates bulk email or mass USENET postings will have their accounts terminated permanently.
We also have several anti-spam filters on our mail servers, some which
are highly user configurable. Our filters include:
- A blacklist filter that temporarily refuses mail from servers that send fake bounces, viruses, large numbers of messages to invalid recipients, or a number of other things our servers watch for.
- A filter that detects and rejects fake bounce messages, closing a loophole in the SMTP protocol
- A 'greylist' filter that temporarily delays mail from servers that we haven't seen before. Most spammers do not queue and retry delivery of refused mail.
- A user-configurable content scanner that scans the contents of mail messages looking for signs that it is spam.
- A user-configurable whitelist feature that accepts email only from senders specified by the customer, or with a special password in the subject line.
